FACILITIES
Birubi St George offers comfortable, family-friendly group accommodation, perfect for those looking to explore the great outdoors.
Our facilities are self-catered – so you can make yourself at home! You'll just need to bring your own gear - and be accompanied by a club host member. And if you're planning a group trip, get in touch with us early – we’re happy to help make your stay possible.
Whether your activity is skiing, snowboarding, hiking, photography or four-wheel-driving, our cozy lodge provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere to relax in after a day out on the mountain.

KITCHEN
The large self-catered kitchen has everything you'll need to cook up a storm, including two gas ovens, multiple gas cooktops, cookware, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and a few basics, like salt & pepper, olive oil etc.
We just ask that guests tidy up after themselves so the space is ready for the next adventurers.
And a heads-up - there’s no fridge (or electrical appliances), so you’ll need to bring an esky. Most guests store their food outdoors - the Tassie climate usually does the job nicely.

DINING
A communal dining area adjoining the kitchen seats around 20 people at the same time, around two large dining tables. It's perfect for big meals and group chats
LOUNGE
The lounge is the perfect place to unwind after a big day out — or to settle in and watch a storm roll over the valley. It seats around 30 people and offers comfy couches, sweeping views toward Stonjek’s Lookout, and a gas heater that earns its keep in winter.

DECK AREA
Beyond the lounge is our back deck, which offers one of the most amazing views in Tassie. Here, our picnic table is perfect for outdoor dining, at least when it’s not buried in snow. We call it seasonal alfresco.

BEDROOMS
The entire lodge sleeps around 40 people, across several bunk-style bedrooms, with double and single bunks.
Just one thing - while mattresses are provided, you will need to bring your own pillow and bedding (sleeping bag). It can get chilly.
